Privacy Policy
Welcome to CDNForge's Privacy Policy. CDNForge is a free media CDN and structured logging platform for FiveM game servers, available at app.back2rp.org (the "Platform"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
a. Account Information
When you create a CDNForge account, we collect:
- Email address
- Username
- Password (stored securely, hashed — we never store it in plain text)
b. Server & API Data
To provide the CDN and logging service, we collect and store:
- API tokens/keys associated with your account and server(s)
- Server or resource identifiers you configure when integrating CDNForge
- Structured log events your server sends to us (e.g., player connects, custom events, and any metadata included in those log payloads)
c. Uploaded Content
When you or your server upload files through CDNForge, we store:
- Images, video clips, and audio files
- Filenames and any metadata submitted alongside the upload (e.g., player names, timestamps, or other context your scripts choose to send)
Because uploads and log metadata are generated by your own server scripts, the specific content and any personal data they contain (such as player identifiers) is determined by you, the server operator. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in uploads or logs unless necessary.
d. Payment Information
CDNForge is free to use. We do not collect or process any payment information.
e. Cookies and Analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your selected organization or portal session. These cookies are required for the Platform to function.
With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to collect aggregated usage data such as page views and general traffic patterns. Analytics cookies are optional. You can accept or reject them using the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time from the footer link labeled "Cookie settings."
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the service — create and manage your account, issue and validate API tokens, store and serve uploaded media, and ingest structured logs.
- Communicate with you — send transactional emails such as password resets, account verification, and important service notices, via our email provider (Resend).
- Maintain and improve the Platform — monitor for abuse, troubleshoot issues, and understand usage patterns to improve reliability and performance.
3. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell your information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers — We share limited data with the infrastructure and service providers that help us run CDNForge, such as our hosting provider and Resend (for transactional email delivery).
- Legal Compliance — We may disclose information if required by law, or in response to a valid legal request such as a subpoena or court order.
- Public CDN URLs — Files uploaded to CDNForge are served from public CDN URLs by design (that's the point of the service). Anyone with a link to an uploaded file can view it, so don't upload anything you don't want publicly accessible.
4. Data Retention & Your Choices
- You can delete uploaded files, logs, and your account through your dashboard, or by contacting us.
- Deleted files are removed from our CDN and are no longer publicly accessible, though brief propagation or backup-purge delays may apply.
- You can update your account email and password at any time from your account settings.
5. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
CDNForge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
